I think 2 or 3 languages are enough in school.. These are both regional or foreign language.Learning multiple languages isn’t only about increasing brain mass, it improves memory as well. It Opens Opportunities for Employment, and Multicultural Understanding.
There may be two or three language in which regional language must be included.
I think there should be two or three languages in school curriculum. According to me, there should be one or two regional languages. Because education can be reach in the best way effectively in regional languages. It also helps those students who don't get job but in future life they use this language to do any work effectively in that region by conversation with people. There should be one foreign language. Because we have to consider not only of our region but also of world level. Our students should be known to at least one foreign language. This helps students to achieve success at world level also and to settle in life.
In the schools when we learn languages it is spoken as well as written, so upto primary level two languages are enough. In middle school third language may be added. But it should be optional for the child to decide which language he wants to learn, Indian or foreign. Learning foreign language will help when a child wants to go to foreign countries for higher education or for job. So those who have such aims may join institutions teaching foreign languages. We should not make learning foreign language as part of our school curriculum. It is better that students gain more proficiency in the languages they are learning. Then it becomes easier to learn many more languages
Knowing a foreign language helps to add one more point in the biodata but will be helpful only when you join company or educational institution where the language is used
