There are a lot of theoretical frameworks for constructing knowledge. Mind MAPPING — where the key thought is set in the page, new thoughts branch off the focal thought, and sub-thoughts branch out as more noteworthy detail is shared or revealed. Idea MAPPING — like Mindmapping, yet centered around a 'key thought'/getting/idea, and distinguishing key perspectives and connections to the idea. Realistic coordinators, for example, Concept Maps can likewise be useful in supporting students to recognize their present comprehension and connect new thoughts. Discussion MAPPING — follows the string of a discussion, with lines among associations and comparable thoughts. The key here is to show students how to catch 'fundamental thoughts', not to record each word! So just like everyone else, teachers also construct their knowledge using these methods.
