Any environmental concept has three components- ecological, economical and socio-cultural. It is very important to try to attain an equilibria among the three to create a sustainable future. There is a term called Intersectional Environmentalist that is inclusive of both social and environmental responsibility. There are 8.6 million species in total on Earth. Humans are one amongst them. If human cannot respect one another, the members of their own species, how can they respect the other species? So, it is very important to teach them to respect from the formative years itself by making them socially aware so that they can imbibe respect for all entire biodiversity.
