Hi Suzzane, the concept of gender is a little difficult for children to understand at the first go so just make sure that you engage in a conversation with the children, ask them about the inequality in our society based on gender and then explain them that gender is a definition given by the society to men and women wherein their roles and characteristics are defined by society which leads to gender discrimination and violence.
