The function of teachers is to help students learn by imparting knowledge to them and by setting up a situation in which students can and will learn effectively. But teachers fill a complex set of roles, which vary from one society to another and from one educational level to another.

Agree with you. Teachers have one of the most complex roles in society. We have to ensure to build the leaders of tomorrow. We need to create a balance between teaching the known and accepted life skills, while not compromising on the individuality of each student. While imparting textbook knowledge, we also have to ensure that are students become responsible citizens and wise thinkers for the evolution of society.
