All the skills that a person needs is to live the life efficiently . Do you think so just by learning the bare idea of "equality , fraternity , secularism etc" one can live its social life efficiently ? Musn't he know about whole working of country , institution in detail ?
And i think , just by learning the bare ideas of "equality", "fraternity" , "secularism" etc. we can not be a SMART CITIZEN of our country and the current scenario demands smartness.
21 Nov 2020The skills that a person needs to live his/her life comes through socialization,moral teachings & experience. Upto now constitution is not included as a separate subject in curriculum. But still most of the people can live their social life efficiently.
21 Nov 2020As you have mentioned about additional pressure then , sir , you must understand that when a new subject get introduced to the curriculum then something comparatively irrelevant subject get reduced or student can have choice to opt their own subjects or the syllabus of different subjects can be altered accordingly ! This all will definelty be taken into consideration while implementing this idea.
Pressure actually is created when the subject is just put in order to make the child study it rather cram up the content and vomit it in the answer sheet. Where as the whole sole purpose and the approach opted for teaching constitution can be with practical implimentation where the students use their knowledge and intellect in order to learn what Indian Constitution is .
