How can I communicate with my students who don't have smartphones?

Since you are unable to connect through smartphones, assuming they have a basic access keypad phone ! You can think of doing weekly group calls where you can refer them to refresh their knowledge using exisiting books they have access to ! 

1.Calls can be a great medium to interact with students if planned well.
2.Identify the topic you want to discuss
3.Ensure to mark the pages numbers to tell students 
4.Give them trivia information over phone 
5.Leave them a question which can be answered through community engagment at home or village 
6.Lastly share a simple activity they can conduct at home like growing a seed into a plant or creating resources from best out of waste !
