The free movement of a body with respect to time is known as motion. For example- the fan, the dust falling from the carpet, the water that flows from the tap, a ball rolling around, a moving car etc. Even the universe is in continual motion.
Motion is change of location or position of an object with respect to time. Change in motion is the result of an applied force. Motion is typically described in terms of velocity also seen as speed, acceleration, displacement, and time.
In physics, motion is change in position or orientation of an object with respect to time. All motions are related to some frame of reference.
