Obtuse Angled Triangle Formula

The formula for area and perimeter of an obtuse triangle is similar to the formula for any other triangle.

Hence, the area of the triangle is given by:

Area = 1/2 × b × h

where b is the base and h is the height of the triangle.

A= $\sqrt{s (s - a) (s - b) (s - c)}$ sq.units

Where s = (a+b+c)/2 (s= semiperimeter)

where a, b and c are the length of the sides of the triangle.

The perimeter of the triangle is always equal to the sum of the sides of the triangle. Hence, if a, b and c are the sides of the obtuse triangle, then perimeter is given by;

Perimeter = a+b+c
