Photosynthesis takes place in green parts only mostly occur in leaves. Photosynthesis occurs in which chloroplast is present. Option A is the only correct option. This is because for photosynthesis to occur, chloroplasts which are present in the leaves and other chloroplast bearing parts are needed.

Correct option is - A

Photosynthesis generally takes place in leaf and other chloroplast bearing parts. Chloroplasts contain a green substance called as chlorophyll. It is, the primary pigment used in photosynthesis, reflects green light and absorbs red and blue light most strongly. In plants, photosynthesis takes place in chloroplasts, which contain the chlorophyll.
