Very interesting question. In such questions only the formula or adding the measurements of the three sides of the triangle will not work. Beyond this, we need to think and understand,it is also necessary to see that the some of any two sides in a triangle should be greater than the third side.only then a real triangle can be formed.If the three sides of the given triangle 87cm 23cm 29cm can't form a triangle or other polygon, then it will not be possible to find the perimeter.
