ABC stands for antecedent (A), behaviour (B) and consequence (C). It is an observation tool that teachers can use to analyse what happened before, during and after a behaviour.
For maintaining healthy teaching-learning environment and healthy student-teacher relationship we must make regular efforts to build mutual trust and respect for each other.
In the ABC strategy,
A stands for Action: Reviewing one's own actions
B stands for Behaviour: Discussing constructive ways of behaving to the same situation.
C stands for consequences: Knowing the consequences of our actions and learning from it.
