Correct option is A.- Synthesis of prothrombin.

Explanation- Vitamin-K phylloquinone is required for the synthesis of prothrombin necessary for blood clotting. It is synthesised by bacteria in the colon. Vitamin-K is commonly called anti-haemorrhagic vitamin. Its deficiency leads to bleeding i.e. no coagulation or clotting.
