Using teaching strategies like group discussions, role-playing, and peer teaching to make learning interactive have been found to be most effective in engaging students  in the classroom

Additionally, I have found that applying strategies like using humor, storytelling, or personal anecdotes to build rapport and make lessons enjoyable are also very effective in engaging students in the classroom.
