One of my favorite ways to celebrate small wins with students during exam prep is through **"Positive Progress Boards."** After each revision session or milestone, students write down their achievements (like mastering a topic or solving a challenging problem) on sticky notes or small cards and add them to a progress board in the classroom.
This visual representation of their growth provides a tangible reminder of their hard work and progress. It also fosters a sense of accomplishment and boosts morale. The board can be updated regularly, and at the end of the week, we take a moment to reflect on all the progress made, celebrating each individual’s contributions. This helps build a sense of community and motivates students to keep pushing forward in their preparation.
