The reason is that they are teaching just for their livelihood and are not passionate about it. In today's world, everyone wants to do a job but not all get white-collar jobs of their desire and so to earn money, they join teaching. Not understanding that teaching is a kind of responsibility. So, they fail to take an interest in students’ questions. Incentives to Improve Education identifies three categories of incentives: rewards, (financial rewards for teachers), competition (educational choice, often in the form of payment for education by voucher) and threats (introduction of external standards and accountability for performance).
