I asked  a student to show his copy . he said " copy is not complete, i will show  copy on monday"  . I said " it ok" . Then he absent for  next one week. What should i do?

Sir, this kind of things I have already faced. One of my students Ayesha used to do the same. Then I followed her activity and found that she is keen to participate in art and craft but not in academics. I adopted some interesting method from gurushala to engage the students like her. I started giving homework in maths with fun activity.Now she has improved and does hw in time.
