About the course

This course aims to employ different strategies which can be applied by a teacher to resolve the conflicts arising in the class. Students’ success in the classroom depends on the kind of relationship they have with their teachers and peers. Their ability to find collaborative solutions to specific challenges with the right set of practices and skills can help them preserve and improve their relationship with peers, teachers and outside school. A child needs to learn from an early stage and preferably in school that how to solve conflicts within the classroom under the supervision of a teacher or simply observing the teacher solve conflicts without the use of punishment. This course helps teachers who find it difficult to manage a conflict situation in a healthy way.

Ans: The course focuses on the aspects and method a teacher can and should use whenever a situation arises where students have developed a conflict or some sort of disagrrement between their peers or with their teacher. Although, all conflicts can not be measured and solved but the module caters to ones specific in class or to those which tends to affect the productivity of childs learning in a regular classroom environment.
