About the course

Socio-Emotional  Environment for Learning is a course for 21st-century teachers with needs for skills to facilitate learning taking into account the social and emotional wellbeing of a child. It equips teachers to deal with learning difficulties that arise from the lack of social and emotional well being. Social and emotional learning (SEL) provides a foundation for safe and positive learning. This particular course aims to deepen the understanding of teachers in this particular aspect allowing them to be more active and attentive to situations concerning the child in the classroom. Thus, social and emotional learning is a course that provides a foundation for safe and positive learning methods that can be used by teachers to cater to the individual needs of children in a class.
