I started journaling a few years back. Since then I am addicted to it. It brought all my thoughts in front of me on a piece of paper which brought clarity to the mind.

Journaling evokes mindfulness and helps writers remain present while keeping perspective. It presents an opportunity for emotional regulation and helps the brain regulate emotions. It provides a greater sense of confidence and self-identity.
