It’s not the thing to be waited for but the thing to be achieved!’ Born and brought up in Punjab, currently working as ‘Principal’ at Shemford Futuristic K-12 School, Auraiya, Uttar Pradesh, Dr Meenakshi Narula holds two post-graduate degrees in IT and English. She earned her Bachelor of Science (Medical) and Bachelor of Education (Physical and Biological sciences) from GNDU, Amritsar. She is associated with the arena of Education and igniting young minds since 2001. She is a multifaceted, versatile person who has command in teaching logics of Science, the nitty-gritty of language and the technical concepts of IT along with excellent coordination skills. Work is worship for her, and learning is a passion. She has a belief that ‘Being a teacher, we have to keep ourselves updated with the latest teaching techniques and bring creativity and innovation in our teaching strategies. ‘Survival of the fittest’- Theory of Evolution by Charles Darwin applies to the field of Education as well. Only creative, updated and upgraded educators would be in demand in the days to come. She passionately believes that learning should not be confined to oneself but should be shared, which is the first step to humanity. Whatever she gains, she shares with others through social media viz. Facebook pages, Twitter, Instagram, and YouTube channel. She also conducts various community outreach programmes to ‘Reaching the Unreached’ by conducting workshops and summer programmes for the government school students and teachers. She has completed almost 400+ workshops, webinars, and short-term courses for professional development in India and abroad. She has been awarded Most Famous Teacher, Most Concerned Educator, Creative and Innovative Teacher Awards in different organizations. She has been felicitated by the Deputy Director, IT, Blue Bells Group of Schools, NCR, Gurugram for developing Computerized Record Book. She is also the recipient of the Tata Class Edge Award for bringing innovation in her classroom teaching and developing online content for the students. She is one of the top 500 teachers in India as certified by CENTA. She has been honoured with a Doctorate degree in Education for her achievements in the field of Education and innovative pedagogy adopted, especially during this pandemic. She has also been conferred with GLOBAL TEACHERS AWARD 2020 by GTA2020 and presented best practices of the school during Teacher Inspiration Week (Dec 2020). For making the teaching-learning feasible during pandemic, she has been conferred with coveted IT GURU AWARD 2020 by Dr Antriksh Joshi (Director IT & Projects CBSE) in Dec 2020 and by RASHTRIYA SHIKSHA RATAN AWARD 2020 by Major Harsh Kumar ji, Secretary NCERT. She has also been awarded for Excellence in Pedagogy Teaching, Most Engaging Educator and Most Innovative Principal award.
