In this blog, I am going to introduce some websites which are based on game-based learning. These websites will help both the teachers and students to enhance their understanding of different topics and concepts. All these websites are completely free to use and some websites have basic available features for free. I will try to add more details about the websites so that you can choose as per your requirement.
Kahoot: It is a “game-based learning platform where you can play games based on different topics. You can also create games aligning with your topic and concepts. This platform can be used for energizers before starting, during the class, or after the class. The best part is that they can be presented on a shared screen and answered by a group of “players” all at the same time through any video conferencing platform.

Quizizz: This is a gamified student engagement platform that offers multiple features to make a classroom fun, interactive and engaging. As a teacher, you can conduct formative assessments, assign homework, and have other interactions with your students (for all grades) in a captivating way.

Educandy is a website and an app that can help you rapidly create short, interactive learning activities. Users enter vocabulary lists or questions and answers and the website converts this information into fun interactive games such as multiple-choice, crossword puzzles, hangman, and other memory games, which can be played with the whole class, or individually. When the teacher creates an activity, a unique code is generated which can then be shared with students so that they can play the games on their own devices. Activities can also be embedded into websites.
