Sayantani Das, is a student of class 7th at Henry Derozio School, Agartala, Tripura. She is one of the rank holders of Gurushala National Aptitude Test. Holding an interest towards Math, she aspires to become and Engineer.
Tell us about yourself
My name is Sayantani Das, I study in class 7th. My favourite subjects are Science and Mathematics. I love using abacus and sketching. I find Mathematics very interesting because it's fun to solve questions in it. I have 6 friends in my school and I love going to school because I get to meet them and spend time with them. It's fun to read and play along with my friends in our classroom. I want to become an engineer as I grow. I think my favourite subject Mathematics will be of great help in that regard. It is my dream to work in the field of engineering.
What is your most preferred way of learning?
I like my teacher's lectures. They are easy to understand and I learn them fast through the lecture method. I also like solving questions on my own.
What is your favourite subject and what do you like the most about it?
All the chapters and concepts in Mathematics and Science are different from each other. Thus, I get to read and learn about something new with every chapter. They never seem to be boring to me. My favourite chapter in science is related to nutrition in animals and plants. In Mathematics,I enjoy algebra and construction of triangles. My Mathematics teacher is very nice and she always helps us whenever we face any issue.
How were you introduced to Gurushala?
Gurushala organized a competition in our school. It was called the Gurushala National Aptitude Test. I really enjoyed attempting that test. The questions were interesting. So I remember Gurushala from that test.
What is your favourite section of Gurushala?
I have used Gurushala's website. There are many good things there. I like watching educational videos created by Gurushala. Gurushala also takes nice tests and quizzes which I enjoy solving.
What is your best memory so far?
Our school took us on an educational trip to a museum and park. We enjoyed it a lot on that trip. I also liked visiting that museum. Many teachers also accompanied us. It was an exciting and memorable day for me.
In what activities of Gurushala have you participated?
I took the Gurushala National Aptitude Test conducted by Gurushala and have watched their videos. The test was a little tough but it was new and interesting.
What is one thing that you like the most about your favourite teacher?
My favorite teacher teaches us English. She is very soft spoken and treats us well. She teaches us well and always helps us. Her teaching style is nice and it is very easy to understand chapters when she teaches us.
