Tell us a little bit about yourself.
I am Tanvi Rahul Barge and I am class 6th student. I really enjoy studying Math and English and these are my favourite subjects. Apart from studying, in my free time I like to play with my friends and I also enjoy writing about different things.
What is your most preferred way of learning?
I listen to the lectures taught by our teachers. After class I revise the concepts taught in the class by writing and memorizing. I practice sums of Mathematics to understand the details of the given concepts.
What is your favourite subject and what do you like the most about that subject?
The subject that I like the most is English. There are many stories and poems to read which I enjoy a lot. I have also been selected as a monitor of my English class because I am good at that subject. While studying English, I also enjoy the grammatical portion of it. Reading passages and improving my grammar and vocabulary is one of my favourite things about the subject.
How were you introduced to Gurushala?
After the pandemic broke, we switched to online classes. I was introduced to Gurushala during this time only. After covid-19, we made WhatsApp groups for sharing study material. This is where our teachers’ sent links for attending Gurushala Academy Classes, which I participated in. These classes were conducted live and I have attended quite a few classes till now.
What is your favourite section of Gurushala and why?
When I attend classes on Gurushala Academy, the teachers ask questions also. I love to solve those question and share the respective answer of the question with teachers and students. I love learning different topics when activities like these are involved in the class. Thus, giving answers to questions is my favourite section on Gurushala.
What is your best memory so far with your teachers or your friends?
I enjoy different activities in school. I love playing with my friends and having friendly banters with them during recess and class. On special occasion like Teachers’ Day, I love buying presents for my teachers. These are some of my favourite memories with my friends and teachers.
How has Gurushala helped you in your journey as a student?
After joining Gurushala on its live classes, my skills have improved. I feel more confident about my reading, writing and learning skills. I also get opportunities to brush up my skills on the Gurushala App. I love the quiz section on Gurushala as it is a fun way of learning new things.
What do you wish to become when you grow up?
I really want to become an engineer when I grow up. My alternative option is to become a police officer, however I would be very happy if my primary goal of becoming an engineer is successful.
