The Role of Moral Values in School

Great values are built on strong moral foundations. Man becomes great when they allow these values to take root within their soul and live by them. Values, attitudes are acquired through instruction and guided learning during the course of child development. Students today are so much into studies and games but somewhere moral teachings become compulsory as it gives them a proper shape and direction as to how to act or react during various difficult situations. Moral values need to be inculcated in all age groups especially in young children as it is said young minds are empty just as a plain white sheet so whatever mark we leave the impression remains for years. When it comes to a teacher inculcating a moral base in their students it takes a lot more as teachers are the ones who shape our thoughts and mind to a large extent.

How school inculcates moral values in students

Teaching success stories of great people stimulates motivational enzymes within students and they all wish to emulate them on their path of success.			The activities we learn in our childhood are still fresh in our memory. So whatever a child learns in school through activities such as sports, games, prayers, etc it gets stuck in their mind for a long time.

Learning moral values from their seniors			Better upbringing
Students learn a lot from their seniors, they follow their footsteps. If they are in discipline, juniors remain in discipline as well.			Sometimes students cant learn moral values at home. It is the duty of the school to inculcate moral values in them so they can understand what is right or what is wrong and become good citizens in the future.
