"The mediocre teacher tells. The good teacher explains. The superior teacher demonstrates. The great teacher inspires." ― William Arthur Ward

Education is our passport to the future, for tomorrow belongs to the people who prepare for it today. A nation is what its teachers are. It is they who prepare the future leaders of a country. If teachers are well-educated, knowledgeable, hardworking, and intellectual and take a keen interest in their job, then only success is ensured.

A teacher is a person who plays an important role in life to shape up the whole life. The teacher provides knowledge and improves the skill of students whether at home or school. Teachers are a great source of knowledge, prosperity, and enlightenment to the children which benefits the whole life.

For many teachers, teaching is only a profession that brings in bread and butter. But in my opinion, an ideal teacher needs lots of patience because Children are difficult to handle and their attention gets diverted often. Children spend most of their time in school and therefore teachers are in a position to interact with them closely. Children having problems at home might want to share them with a friendly teacher. So teachers must deal with them patiently.

When a bright child suddenly falls behind and becomes withdrawn or aggressive, it is a sure sign of trouble. In such cases, the teacher could talk to the child and find out what the problem is. The teacher could mediate with the parents to solve the problem. A good teacher should try to bring out the best in their students. Teachers should also be impartial. Most importantly, a good teacher should be able to win the trust and respect of their students. An ideal teacher treats his students like his own children. He praises the good work done by them.
