Emotional Needs of Children

While raising a child parents always think about what good qualities should they imply to their child. Qualities; a parent seeks in their children may be Truthfulness, manners, discipline, Patience, etc.

A child from birth always tries to copy their parent's attitude. So if your child is arrogant or humble, the child has acquired it from you itself. Hence certain emotional needs which a child needs in this early learning age should be completed by his parents.

The first and the most important need is “Parents attention”. In today's century, most of the parents both mother and father do jobs. Hence they hardly get any time to spend with their children. In such cases, children get involved in virtual activities such as games and internet surfing. These virtual activities not only make changes to his behavior but also distance him from his family.

Secondly is the “Truth”. If a child b is sure that his parents will understand him, the child will not hesitate to share his problems with his parents. If that trust is not built in him he will be definitely hiding his problems which will lead to depression.

The next one that comes is “Respect”. If a child is respectful in nature. It will help in building other virtues in him. While teaching this quality it is necessary to keep him away from arrogant persons; since the child always tends to copy others.

Last but not least is “playing”. Certain outdoor games will definitely help boost his immunity. One thing to remember while playing games is that child falls in don't always try to pick him up; let them at least try. This will encourage them to ‘Never give up attitude'. Majorly do not hesitate to let your child play with other children since the child needs to adopt a social life too.
