बुढ़ापा और बच्चे

पिता देखता है अपने कुर्ते की जेब में

महीने के राशन की फ़ेहरिश्त 

दवाई की लिस्ट ज़्यादा लम्बी है

पेंशन के काग़ज़ बढ़ते हुए वक़्त लग जाता है

शाम भी अब बहुत जल्दी हो जाती है

कमरे से छत की दूरी ज़्यादा लगने लगती है

बुढ़ापा सिर्फ़ जुर्रियाँ नहीं लाता

बुढ़ापा लाता है एक दूरी 

जिसे नापने में साथ देते हैं बच्चे
