Confidence is a necessary part of our life. Being confident about what you are wearing or the solution of a mathematical question solves most of the problems. My teacher used to say that even if you are wearing a stupid costume or not a very fancy outfit but if you are confident no one will be able to make fun of you. It’s how you perceive it and carry it. Confidence can be defined as being sure of yourself and your abilities. It doesn’t mean you have to be arrogant or obnoxious in any way but positively and realistically. You don’t have to feel superior to others or suppress anyone. It is about what you feel on the inside, the inner knowledge that you can do it, you are capable. Confident people do not feel insecure and are aware that they can rely on their abilities, skills, and strengths to manage or handle the situation or work. But this doesn’t mean that you constantly have to have these emotions and feelings. Sometimes it’s okay to relax and not stress yourself. You just have to believe in yourself and be who you are.
A few tips for you to practice:
There are times when you don’t feel like yourself or doing anything but it's okay, talk to someone in your close circle, who understands you or can help you. It can be a teacher, a family member, your mother, a sibling, or a friend. Don’t criticize yourself. Give yourself some time to figure out things. Learn from every experience and mistake and prepare yourself for the next time or chance. You can do it. Remember this. You are worth it.
I hope this article helped you overcome a few obstacles and made you feel a bit confident.
